Good practices deserve visibility and to be advanced in their impact. The European Network of Cultural Centres aims to grant this internationally for projects in the socio-cultural sector with their micro-grant scheme Up Grants.
Eligible projects (running or planned) promote innovative practices in inclusion and community engagement in the Creative Europe countries and fit one of four thematic strands:
1: E-inclusion and digital accessibility
2: Building inclusive narratives
3: Identification and removal of barriers for marginalised groups
4: Equality and diversity criteria in boards and management
All eligible submissions will be showcased on the ENCC website serving as an inspirational database. Four of the submissions, one for each strand, will be additionally selected to receive a 3,500 EUR grant following a public online voting from March 21 to March 28, 2024, combined with an expert jury's choice.
In addition to the financial assistance and a more prominent position on the website, the winners will host a project related workshop at the annual ENCC conference and networking event in Riga in June 2024, with travel costs, two nights of accomodation and a ticket to the whole event covered for one person.
