Baltic Sea Youth Dialogue 2024

11 November 2024 - 16 November 2024

From November 11th to 16th, 20 young people from the Baltic Sea Region aged 18-28 are to participate in the 2024 edition of the annual Baltic Sea Youth Dialogue. This year's topic of the event taking place in GdaƄsk, Poland is 'Cultural Heritage in the Baltic Sea Region: Expert and Peer Dialogue on Shared Heritage, Connections, and Outreach in the BSR' with focus on the history of the Hanseatic League and viewing it from the youth's perspective. The exchange is fully funded for all 20 possible participants.

Students, young professionals, or other interested inidividuals, already active in regional initiatives or newcomers, are equally welcome to the event. The group of young adults will exchange about their shared heritage of the Baltic Sea through a combination of lectures, discussions, workshops, and excursions, all designed to foster dialogue and exchange between young people, including locals, and experts from across the region. There will also be room for reflections on own experiences and one's contribution to preserving and promoting regional heritage.

The event is organised by the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) in collaboration with the Union of Cities THE HANSA, and is financed by the German Federal Foreign Office through the German Embassy in Stockholm
