On June 6th, the National Culture Forum, a significant event for the cultural and creative industries, took place in Kaunas. This event, organized by the Lithuanian National Association of CCI, was made possible by the active participation of around 300 attendees. The forum aimed to create a space for representatives of the cultural and creative industries, decision-makers, and the general public to discuss cultural entrepreneurship and its promotion in Lithuanian regions. The discussions focused on the creative sector's challenges in monetizing their activities, the conditions and partners they lack, and how to stimulate cultural entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, the event provided a platform to discuss and envision the growth of the artistic and creative industries sector in the cities and regions, highlighting their potential to contribute significantly to the country's economy and visibility. The participants, with their diverse perspectives, added depth and richness to the discussions, reflecting the broad spectrum of Lithuania's cultural and creative industries.
The CCI Contact Desk supported this year's event by organizing a networking event focused on cultural and creative industries. Additionally, a Lithuanian artist enriched the event.
